Without jumping too far ahead of myself, the answer is yes. As with all things there are exceptions but when it comes to producing a website that represents your business, the business you have worked so hard to build, then it deserves to have quality photography.
It's actually a great way to have a point of difference or competitive advantage without thinking too hard about it. No one else has images of your team's smiling faces or the unique way you shoot your product.
Take for example this website we recently produced for a law firm, Wilkinson Building and Construction Lawyers.
We knew that to get a true representation of the business, a personalised photography shoot would be far better than using stock images of super model lawyers. (see below)
Ultimately, it's just about being real. Your customers will trust you more, knowing that when they approach your business for a service, they are going to be served by the faces and places they see on your website.
Obviously stock photography can serve a great purpose. In fact we use them on most of our websites. But when it comes to profile pictures, products or service pictures, it pays to go pro and get a personalised photography shoot.
Our expert photographer can take your website to another level of professionalism. One that shouts, 'we're a real business with real people!'
